WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that Under Secretary for International Affairs Nathan Sheets will travel to Frankfurt, Germany, Brussels, Belgium, and Paris, France from March 29 to April 1, 2016.
On March 29 in Frankfurt, Under Secretary Sheets will discuss the state of the global economy and financial system with officials at the European Central Bank and with financial sector participants.
On March 30 in Brussels, Under Secretary Sheets will meet with officials from the European Union and European Commission to discuss economic developments in the United States and Europe and to express Treasury’s support for EU efforts in the fight against terrorism.
From March 31 to April 1 in Paris, Under Secretary Sheets will participate in a High Level Seminar on International Financial Architecture (Nanjing II) as well as continue discussions with international counterparts.
