WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that Acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Adam J. Szubin will be in Berlin, Germany; Rome, Italy; and Paris, France from October 31- November 4, 2016, following his travel with Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Israel.

While in Europe, Acting Under Secretary Szubin will conduct meetings with his foreign counterparts to discuss the importance of maintaining sanctions pressure on Russia until it fulfills the provisions of the Minsk Agreement, the on-going violence in Syria, sanctions on North Korea, and Iran and implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
