Secretary Snow to discuss U.S., global growth with G7 finance ministers

Secretary John Snow will discuss the importance of putting policies in place to grow the global economy when he meets with finance ministers from the Group of Seven countries this week in Paris, France.  Before arriving in Paris, Secretary Snow will visit London's financial district, and meet with Sir Edward George and Chancellor Gordon Brown.  Snow will also meet with economists and business leaders.  On Friday, Snow will arrive in Paris, France for two days of meetings including bilateral meetings with his G7 counterparts as well as the official G7 sessions.  Snow will emphasize the efforts the United States is making to further grow the U.S. economy -- including President Bush's Growth and Jobs proposal.  The G7 includes the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, France, Canada, and Italy.
