Treasury Secretary John Snow today will appear before the Senate Appropriations Committee Subcommittee on Transportation, Treasury, and General Government to deliver Testimony on Treasury's Operations. Snow is expected to tell the Committee, The recent divestiture of most of Treasury’s law enforcement bureaus has created an opportunity for Treasury to refocus on its core missions. These are: creating policies for economic security, jobs, and growth; Ensuring the tax system is fair for all taxpayers; and fighting the financial war against terrorism.Use featured image
