Treasury Secretary John Snow will travel to London, England and Frankfurt, Germany, July 15 through July 18, 2003 to discuss the state of the global economy, with particular attention to growth prospects in Europe. In addition to meetings with the official economic teams of the United Kingdom and Germany, he will meet separately with economists, and leaders in industry, banking and finance. Secretary Snow will emphasize the importance of flexibility in economic policy needed for increased productivity, economic growth and job creation.
