Secretary John W. Snow today spoke to representatives of the financial services, health care and insurance industries about the benefits of Health Savings Accounts, which were created by Medicare reform legislation signed by President Bush in December 2003. At a time when health care costs are rising rapidly for individuals, families and the small-business community, HSAs are a terrific option that should be considered, Secretary Snow said.
