Deputy Secretary Samuel Bodman today addressed the annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, held in London . In his remarks, he praised the Bank's work in fostering the transition of countries toward pluralistic, multiparty democracy and market economies, and said, We must now seek to replicate success in those countries where difficult transition challenges remain.
