Assistant Secretary Wayne Abernathy hosted the forum “Fighting Identity Theft: Outsmarting the Crooks” in Kansas City , Missouri . During the forum, Secretary Abernathy released a new report detailing how consumers and businesses can protect themselves from the growing identity theft scheme known as “Phishing.”
