Secretary John W. Snow is in Portland , Oregon today to meet with local business leaders and tour a local company, Oregon Iron Works. He will discuss the President's efforts to strengthen the economy and create jobs. As a result of the President's tax reform policies, 1.3 million Oregon taxpayers will have lower income tax bills in 2004, and the state has gained nearly 30,000 new jobs during the past four months.
