This week, Secretary Snow commended the financial services community and homeland security professionals for their vigilance during this period of increased alert. Snow made six appearances on national and international television yesterday to deliver the message that U.S. markets were functioning normally and that the outstanding coordination among financial institutions and government are hallmarks of financial system's resiliency.
