U.S. Secretary John W. Snow, U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez, and U.S. Labor Secretary Elaine L. Chao gave a year-end briefing on the American economy Wednesday afternoon. As we look back at our economy's strong performance over the last year, Americans have a great deal to be proud of and every reason to be optimistic about the future, Secretary Snow said.
