Secretary John Snow met with the President's Working Group to discuss the financial markets, including the effects of Hurricane Katrina at the Treasury Department today. The President's Working Group includes Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Chris Cox, Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Reuben Jeffrey, National Economic Council Director Al Hubbard, and Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Ben Bernanke.
