Treasury Secretary John Snow testified yesterday morning on the President's proposed FY 2007 budget for the Treasury. Appearing before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Treasury, the Judiciary, Housing and Urban Development, Snow said that The Treasury Department is committed to fiscal austerity and to the most efficient and effective use of taxpayer dollars while at the same time boosting revenues through continued economic growth.
