Secretary Henry M. Paulson, Jr. hosted Treasury's Annual Iftaar Dinner, honoring Muslim-Americans and thanking them for their contributions to American society, culture and economy. This year's Iftaar dinner was held Oct. 2, and included a small number of invited guests consisting of prominent businessmen and women, community and charity leaders. This country appreciates and honors Muslims throughout America – for your friendship and contributions to our society, our economy and the enrichment of our culture, Paulson said.
