Deputy Secretary Kimmitt  spoke to the American Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt, Germany on the critical contribution foreign direct investment makes to economic growth and job creation throughout the world. We must come together to make  it clear on both sides of the Atlantic that we are open to investment and trade, and actively reject the rise of protectionism across the Atlantic as well as elsewhere in the world, Kimmitt said.
