Meg Lundsager was sworn in this week by Dpty Sec Kimmitt to be the Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. The Senate confirmed Lundsager on March 29. She has served as the Alternate U.S. Executive Director at the IMF since 2000. Previously she worked for the Treasury Department in numerous capacities, including Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Trade and Investment Policy and Director of the Office of Asian and Near East Nations. She has also served on the National Security Council staff and was an inaugural Atlantic Fellow at the London School of Economics. She holds degrees from AmericanUniversity and the University of Maryland.
