Secretary Henry M. Paulson, Jr. visits China this week to meet with government officials and discuss the U.S.-China Strategic Economic Dialogue (SED) launched by Presidents Bush and Hu last year. Paulson toured Qinghai Lake today, the largest lake in the country and an example of the environmental challenges faced in China as well as the global nature of these problems. On Tuesday he will travel to Beijing to meet with government officials to discuss a broad range of issues that are critical to the U.S.-China economic relationship.
