Treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Education Dan Iannicola, Jr. participate in a roundtable discussion today at the Department of the Treasury on financial education in African-American communities. Secretary Paulson will visit California Thursday to discuss financial education with Treasurer Cabral and members of the President's Financial Literacy Council. Treasury has been active in numerous endeavors aimed at promoting financial literacy, including the Financial Literacy and Education Commission, which coordinates the federal government's financial education efforts and maintains a website full of free financial literacy resources at www.mymoney.gov.
