Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Education Dan Iannicola, Jr. participated in a town meeting in Illinois last night on the importance of good credit. Treasury has been active in numerous endeavors aimed at promoting financial literacy, including the Financial Literacy and Education Commission, which coordinates the federal government's financial education efforts and maintains a website full of free financial literacy resources at www.mymoney.gov.
