Secretary Snow To Visit Cleveland, Ohio Next Week To Meet with Local Business and Discuss the Economy

Ohio born U.S. Treasury Secretary John W. Snow will visitCleveland,Ohioon Tuesday, July 13 to meet with alocal businessand discuss the President’s efforts to strengthen the economy and create jobs.

As a result of the President’s economic policies, more than 1.5 million newU.S.jobs have been created since August 2003, including nearly 1.3 million that were created this year, said Secretary Snow.Ohiohasgained more than30,000new jobsso far this year.

The President’s jobs and growth policies have ensured that more than 4.4 millionOhiotaxpayers will have lower income tax bills in 2004, he said.

During the Secretary’s visit to theClevelandarea, he will tour Nanofilm, a local hi-tech company that is growing and expanding as a result of the strengthening economy.
