MEXICO CITY – Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with Mexican Secretary of Finance and Public Credit Ramírez de la O. Secretary Yellen and Secretary Ramírez de la O discussed key aspects of the U.S.-Mexico economic relationship, including how both countries can take advantage of stronger economic integration. They also exchanged views on shared priorities, including strengthening information sharing to combat illicit finance, measures to protect both countries’ national security through bolstering their critical supply chains and cooperation on cross-border payments.
