WASHINGTON, DC – The Air Transportation Stabilization Board (the Board) announced today its conditional approval of the application by American Trans Air, Inc. for a $148.5 million loan guarantee under the Air Transportation Safety and System Stabilization Act and implementing regulations promulgated by the Office of Management and Budget. The Board’s decision was unanimous. The Board’s approval is subject to several conditions, including increased fees and warrants, dividend restrictions, and other conditions identified in the Board’s letter to American Trans Air, Inc., which is attached.
