Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill and Education Secretary Rod Paige on Thursday will hold a news conference to highlight the latest developments in the Administration’s financial education initiative. Congressman David Dreier (R-CA) also will participate in the event.
The event, which will serve as the official launch of the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Education, will be held at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday, October 3, 2002 in the Cash Room at the Treasury Department,
1500 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
