Treasury Secretary Paul H. O'Neill will swear in Rosario Marin as the 41 st U.S. Treasurer at 4 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 16, 2001 in the Treasury Department's Diplomatic Reception Room (Room 3311), 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W.
The position of U.S. Treasurer is the oldest office in the U.S. government, pre-dating the Department of Treasury as well as the President.
The Diplomatic Room will be available for pre-set at 3 p.m.
