WASHINGTON – Today, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong of Singapore. During their meeting, the Secretary was pleased to hear the Deputy Prime Minister’s views on the economic relationship between the United States and Singapore. They also discussed the ongoing close cooperation between the U.S. Treasury Department and Singapore’s Ministry of Finance on shared economic and national security priorities.
