WASHINGTON – On Monday, January 12, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves of the United Kingdom to engage on shared U.S.-UK economic priorities, including cooperation around critical minerals, financial regulation, and trade policy.
Secretary Bessent highlighted next steps following the critical minerals finance ministerial and they discussed updates on the U.S.-UK Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future.
