WASHINGTON – Yesterday, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves. During their discussion, Secretary Bessent underscored the U.S. Treasury’s commitment to Economic Fury, leveraging all tools and authorities against those who continue to support Iran’s terrorist activities.
Secretary Bessent and Chancellor Reeves also discussed the progress being made by the U.S.-UK Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future, and the importance of the U.S. and UK’s continued work to secure supply chains for rare earths and critical minerals.
