WASHINGTON – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan and Saudi Arabia Monetary Authority Governor Ahmed al-Kholifey. The Secretary highlighted the longstanding bilateral relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and commended the Minister and Governor for Saudi Arabia’s close partnership with the United States and leadership in the Gulf regarding countering the financing of terrorism. The Secretary underscored the U.S. government’s commitment to supporting and working with Saudi Arabia as it implements its economic reform program.
