WASHINGTON – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin spoke by phone today with Finance and Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire of France. Secretary Mnuchin congratulated Minister Le Maire on his recent appointment and on the election of President Emmanuel Macron. Secretary Mnuchin looks forward to working with Minister Le Maire through the G-7, the G-20 and bilaterally on a range of shared economic issues. Secretary Mnuchin underscored the strong partnership between the United States and France to counter illicit finance threats, including terrorist financing.
