Davos – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Minister of Finance and Economy Bruno Le Maire of France. The Secretary and Minister Le Maire discussed bilateral economic issues between the United States and France as well as the economic reforms taking place in the EU. The Secretary underscored the importance of French-U.S. cooperation in combating the financing of terrorism, including in connection with State Sponsor of Terrorism Iran.
