WASHINGTON – Yesterday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin met with Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk of Ukraine. Secretary Mnuchin and Minister Danyliuk discussed the economic and reform outlook of the Ukrainian economy. The Secretary commended the Minister on reforms adopted over the last few years and urged the Ukrainian government to continue to implement important economic and financial reforms that will help underpin a secure, stable, and independent Ukraine. The Secretary underscored the importance of the United States and Ukraine working together to combat illicit activity and corruption.
