WASHINGTON – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met yesterday with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Din Hue. The Secretary reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to strong economic relations with Vietnam as a key partner in the Indo-Pacific region. The Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister discussed the implementation of electronic payment systems and cyber security rules in Vietnam. They also emphasized the need to continue implementing United Nations Security Council Resolutions and other sanctions against North Korea.
