WASHINGTON — U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin issued the following statement today on the selection of Louis DeJoy to serve as U.S. Postmaster General:

As the CEO of a nationwide logistics solutions company and Postal Service contractor for over 25 years, he will bring valuable business experience to this important role and help lead the Postal Service to a successful future for the benefit of its employees, suppliers, and customers.
