BRASILIA, BRAZIL - Dr. Jim Yong Kim, President Obama's nominee for the World Bank presidency, met in Brasilia today with Brazilian Finance Minister Guido Mantega. They discussed Dr. Kim's work on economic development initiatives in Latin America, how lessons from the Brazilian model for inclusive growth can be applied in other countries, and the critical role of emerging economies in a stronger and more effective World Bank.
