Bayville—On November 13, 2017, Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin traveled to Bayville, New Jersey for a moderated discussion on tax reform with Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump and Congressman Tom MacArthur. Governor Chris Christie also delivered remarks. The discussion focused on the need to simplify the tax code to make it fairer for all Americans, as well as the importance of tax relief for middle-income families, and reducing rates on businesses to make American companies more competitive. The event took place at the Bayville Volunteer Fire Company.
