(Archived Content) **** MEDIA ADVISORY** ** **WASHINGTON – **On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, the Department of the Treasury’s Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance (FACI) will convene in open session. The Committee Members will hear a presentation from the Hurricane Sandy Rebuilding Task Force, and discuss regulatory developments relating to reinsurance captives and the impact of global demographics on the insurance industry. Members of the FACI plan to discuss these and other topics in its mission to provide advice and recommendations to the Federal Insurance Office. The meeting will also be streamed live by webcast.
