WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, September 21st, U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew will deliver remarks on the importance of private investment to boosting growth throughout Africa at the U.S.- Africa Business Forum. This Forum is hosted on the occasion of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly and is co-hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Secretary Lew will discuss opportunities and U.S. support for accelerating private sector investment and inclusive growth in African countries, including infrastructure development, regional integration, and workforce development.
