The Treasury Department will release tomorrow a study on business taxation and global competitiveness that addresses our current business tax system and outlines broad approaches to reform to inform the public policy debate on the issue. Treasury Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy Eric Solomon and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax Analysis Robert Carroll will provide a pen and pad briefing of the study. The study is a follow up to the July conference on business taxes that was hosted by Secretary Paulson.
