WASHINGTON – Yesterday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin spoke by phone today with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance and Strategy Minister Kim Dong-yeon of South Korea. Secretary Mnuchin congratulated Minister Kim on his recent appointment and on the election of President Moon Jae-in. Secretary Mnuchin looks forward to working with Minister Kim on on bilateral economic issues between United States and the Republic of Korea, on multilateral priorities through the G-20, and on coordinated efforts to increase economic pressure on North Korea.
