Assistant Secretary for Management
Anna Canfield Roth serves as the Assistant Secretary for Management at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Anna most recently served as the senior advisor and acting chief compliance and finance officer for Treasury’s Office of Recovery Programs.
Anna’s previous federal experience includes time at the Office of Management and Budget and prior service at Treasury. She worked on the Treasury transition team that established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in 2010 and later served as the agency’s Deputy Chief of Staff. Anna has spent time in the private sector as well. She helped start an early-stage venture capital and advisory firm, Fenway Summer Ventures, focused on investments in financial technology companies. She later joined Fannie Mae as the Senior Director for Affordable Housing Strategy where she was responsible for driving the company’s multifamily investments in underserved markets.
Anna is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School.
