Treasury's Headquarters is located in the historic Treasury Building just steps from the White House—a site that reflects the Department’s position at the foundation of our government.
The offices within Headquarters are responsible for policy formulation and the overall management of the Treasury Department and are headed by the Assistant Secretaries and Under Secretaries for Domestic Finance, Economic Policy, General Counsel, International Affairs, Public Affairs, Tax Policy, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, and Management.
The Headquarters team works with the nation’s top policymakers, witnessing—and often making—history at the cutting edge of critical global issues. They learn fast and take advantage of many opportunities for advancement.
