Abu Dhabi – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with the Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan. Secretary Mnuchin and His Highness Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayedal-Nahyan discussed their views of recent developments in the regional and global economy.

Abu Dhabi – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid al-Tayer and Central Bank Governor Mubarak Rashed al-Mansoori. The Secretary, the Minister and the Governor discussed bilateral economic relations between the United States and United Arab Emirates as well as the current reform initiatives taking place in the UAE. The Secretary thanked the Minister and Governor for the UAE’s close cooperation between the two nations to disrupt illicit financial activity.

Abu DhabiU.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.  Secretary Mnuchin thanked the Crown Prince and underscored the commitment and close partnership between the United States and the United Arab Emirates in countering the financing of terrorism, including through the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC). The Secretary and His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed also discussed enhanced collaboration on combatting illicit financing and the close cooperation between our countries.
