WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, May 17, the U.S. Treasury Department will host a public meeting of the Community Development Advisory Board. The Advisory Board provides advice to the Director of Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) on the policies and activities of the CDFI Fund which focuses on increasing economic opportunity and promoting investment in America’s low-income communities. The meeting will include discussions on the development of a five-year strategic plan and the release of a new report on Access to Capital and Credit in Native Communities, among other topics.

Media attending with camera equipment should arrive at the South Entrance (on 15th Street and Alexander Hamilton Place) at 7:00 a.m. to allow time for equipment sweeps and set-up. No vehicles will be permitted onto Treasury grounds; equipment must be carried in. All other media should arrive by 8:30 a.m. at the North entrance (Pennsylvania Avenue and 15th Street).
