WASHINGTON – On Thursday, May 29, 2014, Under Secretary for Domestic Finance Mary Miller will deliver opening remarks at public meeting of the Financial Literacy and Education Commission. Under Secretary Miller will be joined by Richard Cordray, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, who will also address the Commission during the opening session.
During the meeting, Under Secretary Miller, Director Cordray, Treasury Acting Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Amias Gerety as well as other officials will discuss efforts to advance the financial capability of the nation’s young people.<

Media attending with camera equipment should arrive at the South Entrance (on 15th Street and Alexander Hamilton Avenue) no later than 7:45 a.m. to allow time for equipment sweeps and set-up. No vehicles will be permitted onto Treasury grounds; equipment must be carried in. All other media should arrive by 8:30 a.m. at the North entrance (Pennsylvania Avenue and 15th Street).
