WASHINGTON – On Thursday, May 26, the Department of the Treasury’s Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance (FACI) will convene in open session. During this meeting, the FACI will discuss a number of issues, including affordability in the National Flood Insurance Program, the globalization of the insurance marketplace, and insights of behavioral economists for the insurance industry. The Committee will also receive updates from its subcommittees.
