** MEDIA ADVISORY**

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance (FACI) will convene in open session. The meeting will include a discussion about flood insurance in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, an update on the Federal Insurance Office’s (FIO) engagement with the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), and subcommittee updates, among other topics. Michael T. McRaith, Director of Treasury’s FIO, will lead the meeting, which will also be streamed live by webcast.
