WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that Under Secretary for International Affairs Nathan Sheets will travel to Mumbai and New Delhi, India on January 7-8, 2016.
On January 7 in Mumbai, Under Secretary Sheets will attend meetings at the Reserve Bank of India and at the Securities and Exchange Board of India. He will also host two roundtable discussions with financial sector experts and private sector economists.
On January 8 in New Delhi, Under Secretary Sheets will meet with his counterparts at the Ministry of Finance to discuss the state of the global economy and economic developments in the United States and India. Under Secretary Sheets will also host a roundtable with economists and public policy experts.
