Treasury to Host 5th Annual Women in Finance Symposium

WASHINGTON – On Thursday, April 30, 2015, the U.S. Department of the Treasury will convene its 5th Annual Corporate Women in Finance Symposium where leaders will share their views on investment and innovation for the global economy. This year’s event is cohosted by the White House Council on Women and Girls, along with Catalyst, a non-profit that promotes inclusive workplaces for women.  The event will bring together senior Administration officials and private sector leaders for a series of keynotes and panel discussions on technology, corporate governance, and workforce investment. The agenda will include remarks from Secretary Jacob J. Lew and Deputy Secretary Sarah Bloom Raskin.

Media attending with camera equipment must arrive at the South Entrance (15th Street and Alexander Hamilton Place) no later than 7:45 a.m. to allow time for equipment sweeps and set-up. No vehicles will be permitted onto Treasury grounds, and equipment must be carried in. All other media should arrive by 8:45 a.m. at the main entrance (Pennsylvania Avenue/New York Avenue and 15th Street).
