Cohen to Continue Treasury’s Global Consultations on Combatting Terrorist Financing and the Implementation of Sanctions
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced today that Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David S. Cohen traveled to Kuwait to discuss efforts to combat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s financial networks and other counter-terrorist financing priorities. Under Secretary Cohen is also visiting Israel this week to continue Treasury’s global engagement on issues related to illicit finance and sanctions enforcement.
