Small Business Visitor

Each participating state, territory, and Tribal government (the “jurisdictions”) designed a mix of SSCBI programs to meet the financial product needs of companies in their market. SSBCI programs operate through partnerships with banks, CDFIs, and other financial institutions; venture capital investors; and providers of small business services like legal, accounting, and financial advisory services. In some cases, a jurisdiction’s SSBCI program applications are available through the jurisdiction’s economic development agency or Small Business Development Centers; in others, the programs are available through participating lenders or investors.

This means that many small businesses may access the programs through lenders, investors, or service providers in their communities, not through the state, territory, or Tribal participant.

Small businesses should review the program materials below, which outline each jurisdictions’ capital and TA program mixes and the key contacts for the programs. They may also indicate how small businesses can participate in SSBCI-supported programs. Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the contact listed in the List of SSBCI Capital Programs & Contacts below.  Finally, see the Provider map to locate financial institutions or investors that participate in SSBCI in your jurisdiction.
